A cement factory in southern Spain is being built to produce concrete.
The cement factory is part of a broader project to produce the concrete in Spain, and the company behind the project, cemento serrano de Almirante, hopes that by providing a better way to transport cement, cement will also become more cost-effective.
Cemento serranos cementos de Alterra will make up for the problems with cement being shipped in containers from China and Russia, which have made the process of transporting cement in containers inefficient and time-consuming.
According to Cementos Alterras cemento Serranos, the cement produced in Alterrea is better than those produced in China and is cheaper to transport.
The company says that the cement is currently produced in Spain’s Almería, and that it hopes to increase production to 50 percent by the end of the year.
It says it will build the cement factory to supply cement in Europe, but that it is not certain that it will produce in the U.S. or Canada, given the challenges of shipping cement from China.
The news of Alterrera cement’s arrival in the United States comes on the heels of the announcement last month that the company was in talks with a major cement producer, LNG, to make cement in the Gulf of Mexico.
The U.K. government had also previously said that it was looking into cement production from the Middle East.
