The striker is one of the top five players in the world, with Sergio Ramos the most prolific, with Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale among the players who have won more trophies than he.

After winning La Liga twice and the Champions League four times, the Real Madrid striker is currently in contention for the Golden Boot award, which is handed out to the best player in the league.

The striker was born in Portugal and was a youth international at the age of 11.

At 17, he made his debut for Portugal at the World Cup and scored the only goal in the 2-1 win over Germany in the last 16.

In the summer of 2016, he joined AC Milan and played for the club for six years.

In his final season with the Italian giants, he scored 11 goals in 35 games, including five in the Champions league.

He left the club after the 2016-17 season to join Spanish giants Atletico Madrid in the summer.
