It’s hard to think of a season in recent memory when there’s been so much to look forward to.

But there are some things that you can’t get any more excited about than the arrival of winter TV.

We can already say that this year marks the first time that the show will be back.

The show will return to its usual format of being a live radio programme with guests and news from the country on the front pages of RTE newspapers and television stations.

We’ll see some of the regulars of the past years including Dave Fennelly, Rory Gallagher and Chris O’Donnell.

But we’ll also be seeing the return of a few new faces including Matt Ritchie and Rory Shaw who will return for the first two weeks of the show with their own programme called The Road Ahead.

We’re still expecting some of that show’s regular cast to return too.

We know Rory is busy and it looks like the news will be even busier than usual.

We’ve already got Rory talking about his trip to the Bahamas with his partner and the return will be packed with interviews and news as usual.

There will also be the return, of course, of many of the programme’s regulars like Dave Fannigan, Rory Shaw and Matt Riddle.

However, the return to the traditional format is just one of the new features.

It looks like it will be a new day and a new programme this year, too.

There will be something entirely different about it, and it will definitely be a little different to the way we’re used to.

That’s not to say it won’t be the same programme.

It won’t.

We’re used a bit to seeing a certain kind of programme on a regular basis and it’s going to be the very first time the RTF is not on air.

It’s just a little more different.

It will be the first of many.

So what do you think?

Is it going to change or will it be the opposite?

We’ll have to wait and see.
